Project Description

Supply and install of 700m of 750mm storm main 6m deep around proposed warehouse and along 48th avenue in Aldergrove to facilitate new warehouse construction

Project Challenges

The proposed storm main tied into and existing system that outflowed into a highly sensitive environment. It was of utmost concern to ensure that no damage was being done to the existing eco habitat as a result of these works. The pipe along 48th avenue was very deep and 48th ave was a busy road. Worker safety and traffic management were imperative to the performance of this job. 

Responsibilites

• Regular Owner Meetings.

• Generating Safety Procedure for Excavations Over 10’ Deep. 

• Maintaining Public Relationships. Quality Control. 

• Engineer Reviews and Training of Jr Project Manager. 

• Ensuring Sub and Supplier Paper Work was collected to verify against invoicing. 

• Reviewing and monitoring daily time for accuracy and value.
